Honduras - COMSA appeals to drinkers with a blast of fruit as it enters the palate. It continues rich with a smooth body then gently exits with a subtle, floral hint.
For a limited time La Prima Espresso Co. will roast this lively, natural process, organic, fair trade coffee in partnership with Market District & Giant Eagle.
COMSA (Cafe Organico Marcala, S.A.) was founded in 2000 by 62 Honduran coffee farmers to transform their farms from conventional to organic and fair trade production. COMSA funds social projects such as teachers' salaries and school supplies. Additionally, COMSA supports construction of kitchens in schools for the Merienda Escolar program that provides meals to school children.
